Manuscript Editing Services by Andrew Wilner, MD, FACP, FAAN Would you like your manuscript read by an experienced neurologist, medical writer, (and Berlitz English teacher) before you submit it for publication? Is English your native language? Are you concerned that your writing isn't as clear and effective as it might be? If so, consider... Four editing services are available. You may choose as many of these as you need: 1. Light editing-This includes correction of grammatical mistakes, spelling, and inappropriate word usage, i.e., that for which, or affect for effect. If more extensive editing is needed, I will suggest it. 2. Serious editing-This includes light editing and more extensive editing, i.e., changing sentence structure, deleting sentences, reorganizing content, eliminating jargon, suggesting graphs and tables. 3. Content review-As an experienced journal reviewer, I can point out the strengths and weakness of your paper and make suggestions that may increase its chances of publication*. 4. Telephone discussion about your manuscript-Sometimes it's helpful to talk about the goals of the manuscript and how best to get there. Wherever you are in the world, we can set up a conference by telephone or SKYPE. I would enjoy helping you refine your paper to increase its chances for publication*. Turnaround time-Most projects will be completed in a few days. If you have a specific deadline, let me know. For jobs that must be completed within 48 hours, rates are increased by 50%. Why choose Dr. Wilner?-I will personally edit your paper as if it was my own. Confidentiality-Your manuscript will be held in strictest confidence. *Disclaimer-Although I'll try my best to help, I can't guarantee your paper will get published! Rates-Competitive rates based on project length and complexity. Contact me for an estimate. Discount-Refer a friend and save 20% on your next paper. If you are interested, please go to the "Contact Us" page and send me a short note about your project. I'll deliver a one page contract and more detailed instructions.
